“My subspecialty in gynecology is colposcopy. This procedure helps further evaluate an abnormal pap smear or an area of concern identified during a pelvic exam.    The procedure involves illuminating and magnifying the areas of concern, allowing us to perform a biopsy. If we determine you are in need of a colposcopy, I will walk you through the procedure and answer any questions you have. My goal is that you are as comfortable as possible.”
